Just dug out my macro lens to have a faff... not really used it much since I bought it but glad this thread is here, I don't really do creepy crawlies and stuff tbh.. lol

So I am slowly getting into macro and looking for stuff to practice on. These are small stones, typically sold at gift / novelty stores. They are about the size of a thumb nail, or a bit larger.

Backlit from a window light, and a small LED video light, from the side.

I don't know if the images are appealing, but I like the way they turned out.
