This last weekend. I shot the Orange Empire Swimming Championships that were hosted at Fullerton College. This venue was a challenge as the pool is west to east pool. The afternoon was hard to get good shots as I was completely backlit. I was primarily shooting swimmers from Golden West College. Here are a few from the meet:

Thank you for the compliment. I primarily used my Canon 70-200mm F2.8. If you look on my website, any over 200mm were shot with the Sigma 150-600mm.

Is it the S or C model? I have the Tamron, and I'm considering adding a second big lens (so my wife and I can both shoot at the same time).
Thanks in advance for the info!

Cool! I appreciate your feedback on it. I'm leaning that way as I love to be oceanside chasing birds and such. Thought the weather sealing would be a good benefit for me. Never imagined it as a strong tool for sports, but you have proven it so.

Thanks again, and I look forward to seeing more of your images.

Excellent shots and the post processing :)
