Reminds me of the Jimmy Buffett song, "Life is Just a Tire Swing". ;)

Nice Cogs I believe they are a bit rare / in decline in the UK?

Heres a Male Red Backed Shrike that I know are rare to see for you but here in Germany are not common but findable. Am concentrating a bit this summer on getting some better shots of them.

so gave the body a good work out today. Was at a horse show. so got to really test the battery in a real world shooting not just putzing around the house.
I took 700+ photos and was down to 48% at the end of the day. Using my Sigma 150-600 the whole time in AI servo and OS on the whole time. LOTS of burst shots. so looks like I didnt really need 2 extra batteries. I was pleased with its AF to. I would say I had about a 90% hit rate. some of the misses was the camera and some was me not keeping on target.

Boston Common, oldest park in the United States and the start of the Revolutionary war. This is the setup for Memorial Day to commemorate the fallen. I got to spend last Thursday there and thought it was fitting for this weekend for those of us in the US anyway... :-)
