Sony Vario-Tessar T* E 16-70mm F4 ZA OSS Images!

Welcome folks!

I seen the "decision" topic, but no real thread to show off what this beautiful lens can do.

I just made the jump to the Sony A6000 and pick this up as my first lens for it, so as they say lets see them!

Been waiting for others to post, but i can post some of mine if thats allowed. Im not the best of photo taker but im learning and Ill get some great shots up soon.

Lets start with our snow day through a bike trail this past week or so:

So Ill post the remaining few I had of the snow day with the boys. I been out taking a lot of photos and some have turned out pretty good, so I"ll give it a couple of more days and post the up. I am still learning alot and hope you guys can see a difference especially using the full potential of this Camera and Lens.

Thanks for making this thread. I too am really thinking of getting the a6000 and this would be my first lens for it. I have been browsing the flickr group for this lens and it seems to be really nice. I hope to get my set up in a few weeks and will post some shots if I do.

Do you shot in raw and do you use PS or light room to edit? Just wondering for the camera/lens profiles in those software's. Thanks.

The A6000 in the right hands can do amazing things and with the 1670z as a walk around you can not go wrong. Sure its a little pricey, but what isnt at this point.

I been shooting in both Raw and JPG to explore what comes out of the camera vs what I can do in either PS and LR. I haven't dug in enough into the Lens Profiles to know much, but would love to give it a try. Just looking for someone to give me a push

Hey guys, bringing this thread back to life. Here are a few that I took with it. I actually returned mine as I was not totally happy with it, but ordered a brand new one today to try another copy, as I know many like it, but some are just not up to spec. Hope it works out in round 2.

Two more. I hope more ppl have this lens and can chime in on their experiences with it.

Those are great! So, you're shooting in crop mode? Mind sharing your reasoning for using this lens in crop instead of one of the FE zooms uncropped?

Just a couple shots outside testing the tracking on the a6300 w/ this lens. Works amazing well as Tucker doesn't do anything slow.
