Maybe not the best photo technically, but this one means a lot to me. First, I'm an engineer, and this bridge is an astonishing feat of mankind. Secondly, that's my father-in-law on the bench. He died a few years ago when he was struck by a car while out on a Sunday afternoon bike ride. He loved the state of Michigan and the outdoors. This was one of his most favorite places on earth. I just can't explain how cool this photo is to me and my family. Thought I'd share.

Beautiful shot and sentiment.

Woah!! Scary Bridge!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scary, but totally worth it. I was actually more worried about my 3 year old daughter who was casually strolling across, instead of holding on to her moms backpack and following closely.
