Eddie, I didn't realize there was an FE mount Zeiss 24. Very cool. I think you'll like the a6300. Best of luck on the sales. Maybe hold on the Canon zoom until you test the Batis 18.

The 24 is a crop lens but it's supposed to be awesome

Yeah. I'm trying the new stuff out before I sell the old stuff. But I'm about ready to list the EF 16-35/4 and the CV 15. The Batis 18 is pretty freaking awesome :)

To be honest I would be selling everything anyway. The only one in doubt is the 16-35 which I would keep if the Batis 18 wasn't what I wanted. Only trouble is its out of stock everywhere until July 1st

From recent shoot, tried to capture simplistic light fixtures, thought they looked cool.

Nice one Vinz. Lots going on in that image...GM handled the foreground and background bokeh well.

Testing out the FE 24-70 F4 I rented. Window light on a drab day so not the best conditions to put a lens through its paces. But the size is appealing, and the ability to zoom AND have native AF functions is a plus.

I'm very happy with both the FE 16-35 f4 and the FE 24-70 f4 lenses I own. They really make a great two lens travel kit.

I didn't think this would work very well but decided to try it anyway and WOW...

With the camera set up to AFC and zone AF, even at 400mm using my Canon 100-400L + Metabones IV adapter, the lens focused faster than I expected and was very accurate.

It's much too hot outside and there are no birds flying around so this shot I took of a daisy will have to suffice for now to demonstrate AF accuracy at an effective focal length of 600mm.

Needless to say, I will be playing with this combination again.

Gene is it faster than the a7rii to focus at those longer focal lengths?

Wow, so cool! The CV 10 has quietly become my next wish lens. Haven't seen a whole lot with it yet, but what I have looks impressive.

Yes, it sure is...on my a7rII anyway. I always had to pre-focus for the lens to AF at all if it had to travel very far. And while on the a6300 it can be slow if the lens has a long travel distance but it works everytime and focuses accurately. Once the lens is already close to focusing at a given distance, it's very fast snapping to my chosen 'target'.

Here's one more test shot...sorry.

Joon, I love the results from both lenses but I think I prefer the Batis 25 in this instance only because the images from it show more details without appearing cluttered to my eye.
