My wife said to pack light....I don't know the meaning.

Stuffed into the bag: a7rII, rx1RII, Batis 25, Loxia 21, 85GM, FE 24-70 F4, Nissin i40. Mefoto tripod hooked to back of the bag. Lots of batteries.

Must have missed this, where are you going?

Wow, so cool! The CV 10 has quietly become my next wish lens. Haven't seen a whole lot with it yet, but what I have looks impressive.

Thank you David. I am really enjoying this fun lens and should be a keeper for me. I'm pretty sure you've already read it but I'll give link below to Bastian's review on this lens anyways.

Joon, I love the results from both lenses but I think I prefer the Batis 25 in this instance only because the images from it show more details without appearing cluttered to my eye.

Thank you Gene. You have an absolutely good point and yes I do agree. It was more of a test shot but still thought it was a pretty cool shot. I especially love the sunstars coming out of this lens. This lens is really really wide and not the easiest to compose a shot. I even cropped good amount and still this wide.. hahaha. I love it though.

hey joon, was this last night? I went last night, but kinda late. Love the CV 10 shots.

BTS, with the sigma 50, had to get some fresh churros with my fellow shooter

Thanks again Charlie for sharing this location, and compliment. Yes I went last night with my wife. It was between 8:30 to little over 10.

Driving to another milky way location we came across this cool looking hall at Mahurangi, only 35 minutes from Auckland CBD

I just downloaded the NIK sofware suite and this was edited in Lightroom using Nik software and a little dehaze.

From recent shoot, tried to capture simplistic light fixtures, thought they looked cool.

That came out nice!

Those came out great. I'll post my version taken with the Batis 18. It'll make a nice comparison.
Cv 10 is definitely next on my list.

I took a paddling trip down the Turner River today. It is off of US 41 in Southwest Florida. I was able to access Everglades National Park by water utilizing the river. In order to access the Park by road I have to travel about 3 hours. I would highly recommend this float for anyone who enjoys paddling. I would recommend going with a group if you are a novice paddler. I've spent a lot of time paddling and utilize a GPS to stay on track. The route is very easy, but it gets more difficult when you get closer to the tip of Florida.

Thank you Nadim! I would've stayed longer but felt sorry for the wife. Indeed would've been nice to have met you guys~ Can't wait to seeing your B18 images!! As much as I really like and enjoyed the EF16-35, I realized I was missing the B18 too much. I'll be rebuying the B18 soon.

Stay safe from the Burmese Pythons and Nile Crocs down there. :p

Yeah, that's my kayak.
I haven't seen a python down here, but they are around. I had to go around a 10' alligator today. It was in a narrow passage and I was within 5'. It's the first time I've been nervous around them. The saltwater crocodiles are generally near the southern tip of Florida. I was a few miles north of there. I haven't seen a crocodile here. I spend most of the time in the northern Everglades and big cypress.

I prefer the 70-400, but it depends on whether or not you're willing to deal with the weight.

Beautiful MW !!
I think we are going for MW this coming off week if we get a clear sky forecast.
The fun part is that it will be a three day hike to get to the darkest skies in our area.
And that presents a weight dilemma since we're backpacking.
