In not sure what category I fall into? The easily satisfied one I presume

I can afford much more camera gear really but I don't see the point of having lots and lots of money tied up in it.
My vote goes to "the wise one" category.

Jun 07, 2016 12:19 | #18753 On the topic of market place for selling gear, I've had great success on Fred Miranda. It's well worth the fee. I have not had much luck here on POTN. Forget about Craigslist. I have not tried eBay and probably won't. It's just reassuring to know that I can sell and buy with confidence over on FM. Yes there is always risk but I think the FM marketplace does it well. - Alfredo -

When I went on my honeymoon to Tanzania on safari I bought a 100-400 mk1 and a 7D for the trip. I really liked that lens. Sometimes think about getting it back but would have to make a real effort to use it enough back home Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

Sometimes think about getting it back but would have to make a real effort to use it enough back home I believe the 100-400 Mk II is supposed to focus even faster, at least on the a7rII but for the number of times I shoot using a long lens, I think this will be a great combo for me. One of the reasons why I've hung on to my 5D3 was the fast focusing with this lens. Now, I think I've found a decent replacement for that camera. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||

I actually really liked the push pull zoom function and think I would actually prefer that over the mk2 rotating zoom. I've not used the mk2 and I know it's supposed to be stellar optically but the mk1 never disappointed in that regard. It is massive though! Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

Well, I had the Canon 300 f2.8 IS lens for a long time too and by comparison, the 100-400L is a light weight. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||

The viewing angle and the softened light make the image appear more natural for the hammock setting. I’m not sure about the exposure… the first one was perhaps too bright, but this one seems to me slightly dark. Great image, regardless! how about this?
