Sony A7x lounge

Gene / other peak design users - do you put the little attachments directly on the built in lugs or do you attach them to the little triangles that come with the camera that go through the lugs?

Have some shots with the 70-300, and I think it's a keeper for me. The size is really great.

A tad soft wide open, but F8 is the sharpest, F11 if you want DOF.

Here's one F11 + 100%, processed, but no sharpening or noise reduction, @300mm

i have the bottom that comes from the capture, then i have the wrist strap and the neck strap altogether. I'll take a pic later.

Would like to see that. I ordered the leash but was worrying about fraying if directly on the lug (even though that's how I have my mini QD loops)

I was considering also getting the cuff but unsure about it

Something cool I just noticed about the a6300. When you hit the button in the middle of the control wheel to allow you select a focus point the function actually stays selected so even if you move the focus point, then take a photo you can then move the focus point again without first pressing the centre button. It's like a toggle button

I hope they change the a7rii firmware to allow this

Hah nice one man. Landstrait = environmental portrait to me. Kind of challenging because its like you're composing two shots...a landscape and a portrait.

thanks. yah it's hard. i have to used my strobe here to balance exposure.

Just bought an FE35F28 from FB($500). the owner claimed it's in great condition and had only 200 shots with it because he bought the FE35mm F1.4

I heard about this. Very useful feature. Yes I hope a firmware update makes it available.

Vinz, to my eye, this image is tilted down on the right to keep the bench edge vertical. If you tilt the image so that the back of the bench and seat are horizontal, the back edge will be tilted back as it should be and the bench legs will then be vertical.

Sorry, it's just destracting my eye from the subject of the image.

(I extended the top of the image to be sure there was enough 'head room' before I straightened the bench then didn't bother to remove it)

Eddie, on my a7rII, one anchor is attached to the little trangle, the one on the left when viewed from behind and the other to the opening on the bottom of my "L" bracket on the right. I'll take a couple of shots shortly for you too.

For the a6300, I'll just use the triangles for now until I get an "L" bracket for it.

Thanks gene, what's your reason for not using the lug on the right? Just so it's out the way of the shutter button?
