Wow, still have the sweats from the jump!

My Version 1 is for sale,. end of an era.

I was mostly looking for reduced weight before my next trip to Africa.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Nice puffins :)

Canon USA allowed me to chose overnight delivery, so literally for the first time in my life I selected overnight fed ex.

from New Jersey UPS ground is next day in my neck of the woods IF they bother to ship.

3 days later and they have not shipped or notified me in any way :(

Ah well.

Bah, the 4th gen design foot came in the mail and... IT HAD 1 SCREW MISSING!!!! vmad It needed 4 screws to attach the base to the lens and 2 screws to attach the foot to the base, and I got FIVE screws!!! Got to call them up tomorrow to see if they can fix the problem. For 120 bucks, you can't be sloppy like this, guys!

Wow, that is almost as annoying as Canon giving my lens to someone else!
