How was the PT? Guessing it didn't kill you

What doesn't kill me makes me stronger, right? It was pretty unpleasant but my knee is moving better, so it's all good.
I'll be doing this for about 6 to 8 weeks. Swelling, angry joint, and all that goes with it. I won't be trekking down paths or into the woods for those shots anymore. I really do believe I might be letting go of some of my gear I haven't used in a while. It's gonna be some tough decisions, but I think it's time. My PT is pretty convinced I'll come out of this with little or no limp, which is a good thing!

I saw years ago something written to a friend recovering from whatever, and I have been using it too.

Jay, don't get well soon...

- Get well now!

Wishing you good fortune buddy.

You meant physiotherapy rather than personal training then? Not a great deal of fun from what I can see of my wife's troubles at the moment but hopefully you fully heal

Yeah, no personal training yet. I need it though. ;-)aOnce I get my knee and my back working together again, I'm going to start working on the rest. I've put weight on and horribly out of shape. I should be good to go sooner than later.
I don't mind getting older, it's the feeling old that takes it out of me.

Jay,

I know what you mean. I changed my diet back in September.... I'm down 25 pounds so far.... but in order for me to end up a skinny, old man, I need to drop another 20 or so.

I changed my diet to help my body fight off psoriatic arthritis... and it is helping. The weight loss is just an added bonus. I only drop 3 to 5 pounds a month... unless I cheat. I had a few bad months this spring... didn't lose anything, but I'm back on track now. I should be good come the new year, if things go as planned.

I'm about 40 pounds over where I should be. I used to walk miles a day, and cut out all the bad stuff. I need to get back there. I drink way too much soda, and consume way too much caffeine in a day than I should. Time to start cutting back on both.

I could afford to lose the average high school freshmen. I make adjustments that make me feel like I'm losing, but the scale must be stuck. Though I'm pretty sick right now, I always lose a good bit when I'm under the weather.

Three 24-hour kills in the space of a week. He needs one more by Saturday.

I've been traveling. (Note: United is now on my no more muffins list along with Delta. It's getting mighty close to "if I can't drive, I can't go" time.)

Coincidentally, I forgot my hats this trip. I usually bring a small sample of my collection for travel and I totally blew it when packing this time.

Bad Erik. No Muffin.

Well that's pretty harsh. Depriving one's self of Muffin pleasure voluntarily, is a classic sign of depression. I suggest counseling.

If it's not capitalized, they're the blueberry kind, or bran.
