I took my grandchildren to Orlando for a holiday a couple of weeks ago and took the opportunity to give bird photography a go. Comments and critique welcome

Boy, we birders must be a snobby group! Seriously, these deserve a big "Atta Boy!" and you will hear more from the group. Very well done. Whites are tough and you did very well. Post some more as opportunities present themselves.

Another visit to Orlando with the next set of grandchildren happening later this month (one more set to go after this) so may well give Gatorland birds another go, this time with a 1DXMk11 and a 100- 400mm. Not got the advantage of entry with the photographers pass at this time of year so the light will not be as good but will still be fun.

While I am there can anyone suggest a good location close to the Kissimmee/Davenport area for landscape photographs?

Looks like you could use a bit of MFA of the lens to that body, but YOU did a great job. That first one is hysterical :) As Rog says, whites are particularly difficult to get right (especially in the sun) and you did a very good job here.
