This is mine. I was an innocent bystander while a pro was shooting my cousin's wedding, but with my 85 1.8 I saw this shot to make a totally cool Mercedes Benz ad - lol.

.....but if it were to be a Mercedes ad the focus would have been on the grille and not on the couple. ;-)a

Tough to choose the image that I think is best. This one, well it's certainly once in a lifetime. This was taken atop the Cathedral in the Old Town of Cartagena, Colombia last year. Public access is usually restricted, but the couple were very active social workers and the Cathedral people let us climb up to the top. I will never forget this one!

Great shot Jim. I continuously look forward to seeing your work. I've got to say though, with the great symmetry you have going on in the photo, it is driving me crazy that her head is not right in the middle of those doors!!

Thank you for the compliment! You're not the only one who is bothered by the fact that she's not perfectly centered. I never noticed that she wasn't aligned until after I looked at the photo once I got home. It was extremely hot and humid the night I snapped the pic and I guess I was in a hurry to finish.

Unfortunately it's far easier to critique a picture on the internet than it is to think of all those things when actually taking the shot!
