I forgot to say that I was using a Canon 7DII with the 100-400L II lens. I'm very pleased with the combination.

That is most likely the combo I'm going to buy. 7DII and 100-400 II. Camera sometime this summer. Lens next year.

Nice shot of the Rose-breasted Grosbeak Ive got two males that show up regularly at my feeder bit I cant seem to get a good shot of one. Haven't seen too many Blue Jays this year I guess I'm gonna have to put some peanuts out.

Hey John, seem's my bird's are kinda hit and miss right in the middle of the nesting going on. Ya I feed the jay's shelled bird peanuts all winter. We have a deal,...I feed them and they give me good stuff. I'm hoping the Rose Breasted brings me there little ones....they are super to shoot
