Just grabbed a cheap 50mm 1.8 STM to try out on the 6d as well. Had an older version that was super noisy when focusing and I'm liking the STM version much more.

Can anyone help sway me in reference to a lens for the 6d?

Currently got an offer on a Tamron 24-70mm 2.8 with VC in trade for my Ricoh GR. Right now the Ricoh is my only portable camera that doesn't need a bag. Wasn't sure how much love the Tammy got on the 6d?

Sits on my 6d all the time :) , only comes off when I put the 100-400 or 300 on when the light is too low for the other bodies.

A coupla bodies and a few lenses

I can't stand using my Canon 50mm 1.8 II because of the focusing noise! Beautiful shot!

Happy Father's Day!

One of my favorite spots. Was able to get here in time for sunset after work thanks to days being their longest at the moment. Got the cloud cover, color and as a bonus..the train schedule cooperated!
