Since I dont have a good lens for getting actual bird shots, here is a photo I took of a cedar birdhouse I made the other day(out of a cedar fence post).
Really wanted to try out the new Sigma 17-70 I bought. So far, I think I am going to like this lens. Not so much for birds(unless they make a home out of this birdhouse), but overall, its off to a good start.
This shot is right off the camera, minus profile change to camera landscape and 10-15 of vignette in LR4. I wish I would've moved the citronella candle, but really didn't plan on posting this picture as I was testing the lens out.
