Here's a link to some of my work being featured on the LHSA website. You need to join to see the entire article and to see all 13 images featured. My work is also being featured in Viewfinder Magazine. They invited me to show 13 images and was also asked to write an article. If yo are a lice owner and are not a member I would recommend joining. The have wonderful archives and a wealth of member knowledge.

Also One of my photographs was excepted in a juried exhibit at the Soho Gallery in New York. The curator and judge was Elisabeth Biondi. She was the Visual Editor of the New Yorker for 15 years. There were over 1500 submissions and only 40 were selected for the exhibit so I feel honored. The opening is Thursday July 7 at the Soho Gallery 15 White Street New York, NY. Unfortunately I can't attend the opening because I have a very early shoot on Friday the 8th for a VERY important client.

Heres the image she selected

And heres a link to the site. It’s a slide show but you can also click on the tiny ovals under the photos

Heres two from this morning, playing with my new YN14EX ringflash (in manual) with a 50 summarit on a Diy extension tube with the M240 in live view.
I really need a hoodloupe or a multifunction grip and EVF

I have an LM to LM spacer. I think it is 20mm. In any event I tried it out to on my wife's African violets, now in decline. Wow, those tiny hairs. I used the Olympus LVF for fine focus. Not so much fun handheld.

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
We hold our L glass toward the light,
Digitizing in a snap reflective glory
That will forever tell our imaged story.

Nice !

i built an extension tube using a set of lens and body caps, glued back to back.
can be a lot of fun playing in the almost macro world

A couple from a recent outing in Kings Park with the M240, Olympus OM 28 f.8, OM-M adapter, DIY extension tube and Yongnuo YN14EX ring flash.
probably the most backwards, difficult to use macro rig ever - no AF, no IS, working distance of a couple of centimetres, working in live view, stopped down (peaking doesn't seem to work when stopped down) and i don't have a mounting ring for the flash on this lens
but, i get almost 1:1 - and holding the flash in the left hand allows it to be easily manoeuvred to produce different effects to straight on ring flash.

to be perfectly honest, i did really enjoy spending an hour fighting with my M to produce good images - it was nice to walk slowly, actually see (rather than just look) and spend some time making the best pics i could.

flowers in the first three pics are roughly 15mm across (a smidge over 1/2") the last is around 30mm (a bit over an inch, which is 25.4mm)

Haven't had a lot of time to shoot recently. Here are a few from earlier in the week in NYC just before a huge thunder storm broke loose. All shot with the M246 at iso 6400 with 21mm Lux. I'm really impressed with what this camera can do - not so much impressed with what I did with it.
