At the mall near Westminster aka "little saigon", they have night markets which mimmick daily life in vietnam. These night market festivals are only during summer months, so I make the most effort to attend. The food creation there is excellent and has some very unique fair style food as well as typical vietnamese food.

you'll have to excuse the extra large black bars, it's for IG

As a fan of Vietnamese food, I might have to take a detour by Westminster soon...

There was an airshow in town this weekend, which isn't exclusive to the United States but it is traditionally a nice slice of Americana. This was to be the Blue Angels' first performance since the tragic accident weeks back, but the boys just didn't think it was time to perform and I can respect that.

Here's mine. Typical scene when walking through downtown Houston in the morning. Plus the word Houston is in the scene :-)

I thought it would be easy! Can be any interpretation you like of your homeland. A local landmark, a local drink, food, a sign, your national flag, state flag, etc etc

A West Point, Georgia residence all readied for Independence Day (US, not the crappy movie :p). The flag to the right of the US flag is the Georgia state flag.

Nice David. Very patriotic....would make sense to take something like for our hometowns this week. Completely missed that.
