Hi People, this is my first baby shoot and our first baby!! Can you please critique the photos. Thanks in advance.

These are lovely shots. The only nit-pick that I can think of is that the background in the first two is kind of drab. I like the background and composition of the third shot much better.

Colors are too harsh on the first one. Otherwise these are really good. The fashionable post processing nowadays is pastel colors and lot of blurring on the background/foreground. It does not mean that you need to apply that but that is what "sells" recently.

Thanks CyberCat. I have observed the blurring on number of other baby photographs and considered giving it a go this weekend. I will play with the colours too while I am at it.

Nice job! I would fold up some blankets and put them beneath backdrop under head and feed to curl him up a bit.
