I recently got the itch to try some fd lenses with adapters but can't seem to get them to work on the 1D2. They work on my 5D3, so it almost has to do with a setting on the camera. When attached, aperture reads 00 as expected ( in manual mode), but when I take a picture, it feels as if it locks up, reads error 1, then goes back to normal readout after pressing the shutter again.

hi to all I have used 1d mkii which was a freebie it was working fine until yesterday the quick control dial ceased to work. it turns round but it does not move on the setting icons when holding the menu button. I done a factory refresh all the switches and knobs are in the on/open position put in the battery and can't set time/date any help please
