Yeah, its not the most intuitive thing... Once downloaded, go into Finder, view the Go menu and remember to hit the Option key so you can get into the Library folder. Then it should go in Application Support / Adobe / CameraRaw / LensProfiles.

Just to make things easy, you can use this: http://www.adobe.com …ads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5489 (external link)
It's the Adobe lens profile downloader. You choose the profile and it installs it for you

Always amazed by the low light capabilities of the 6D.

This is taken from the 'jumpseat' of a Boeing 737, handheld. I took this photo in portrait orientation and cropped it as it looked better in landscape.

Are you all using "Enable Profile Correction" in Lightroom, or similar function in other PP app, for this lens?

No, I tried to install a profile I found on the internet but I didn't figure out how to make it work.
So I manually correct the distortion and it looks ok for this kind of shots. It doesn't for architecture photography though.

I'm using "Enable Profile Correction" in Lr.

In old versions of Lightroom you need to install a profile. If I remember well, Adobe Profile Downloader is the right tool. The only, let's say, drawback on my computer is that profile is in Canon folder, not Samyang. Someone posted in this thread how to install it.

In the newest version of Lr 6 and CC plenty of profiles have been added with Samyang 14/2.8 included.

For anyone with a 3D printer and one of these lenses who needs a filter holder.

Thanks! Yes, had to cancel the Death Valley trip due to not being able to use the car I wanted to use. So went to Borrego in my own car instead.
