He looks like he was not happy, but actually, he was eating. Just lucky in the way I got the shot, I guess.

He was actually very calm. He had just picked up something on the side of the road and then crossed the road and went up the embankment. I stopped the truck and was shooting through the passenger side front window. He was not aggressive at all. I just happened to catch him when he was cheweing whatever he had eaten. And I was quite a ways away. That was shot with my old 500mm.

A couple of these masked bandits opened my kitchen window and made quite a mess - emptied the cupboards, broke dishes and glassware, and ate pretty much everything they found. I set up a camera to see how they got in... they moved a chair so that they can reach the window, jiggled the latch and slid the window open. I caught one in a Havahart and he now lives far away from me. I installed a rod in the window track so that they can't get it open and baited the trap. They seem to like bananas....
