One last one from my trip to Moosehorn Lake, as I was wrapping up the foreground images some pretty mean looking clouds started rolling over the mountain on the right of the image, wind picked up quite a bit too. Packed up my stuff quickly, didn't want to chance getting caught out in a storm up there, ended up not raining or anything but up in those mountains some serious thunderstorms can sneak up on you really quick.

1st try at stitching frames for a wide MW. 60D 50mm f/2 3200iso 10 seconds each. stitched with ICE. Pretty bad LP in that direction. Next time I'll do some stacking to get rid of some noise.

A couple from West Lulworth, Dorset - this is the first time I've seen the Milky Way so clearly in the UK:

Thanks,I have a lot of light coming from the Horizon but overhead the sky looks pretty dark, I just need to learn how to deal with it better.

Took this last weekend at a small lake here in Central Michigan. A new moon and not a cloud in sight; can't ask for much more than that. Lighting the foreground was pretty low-tech: I just used the flashlight on my iPhone.
