Anybody own an ONA Prince Street Bag? the slightly bigger one? I'm thinking of buying one.

This is rather shocking coming from you...the ultimate perfectionist who won't buy a great camera (e.g. a7R II) because it isn't perfect. Something changed?

Oh but I already know there isn't a perfect camera. I'm not expecting it anymore, cause it will never happen with my degree of perfectionism.

But there are compromises I'm not willing to live with. The lossy compression thing is one, price is another one. Haven't taken any pics in the last six months or so except for the picture my dad needed for his new e-id card. Probably the most important question for me is:

"Can I justify the purchase?"

And the answer to that question mostly is "no" since photography isn't a priority here and I don't have a donkey that sh*ts money. If I would buy new photography gear every (few) month(s), I'd feel like I'd be burning money and that just feels wrong. Eventually I'll get a new camera. But that could be in e.g. 6 months from now or even in 6 years from now. Who knows. My Powershot A40 lasted 8 years before I replaced it. And I bought my 550D/T2i in Jan/Feb 2011.

Totally off topic here but what the hey!

Today, July 11th is the 53rd anniversary of my joining the US Navy. The year was 1963 and I can't believe how long ago that was...and how quickly the time has gone between then and now.

I'm buying this round!

I have this bag in antique cognac. Very nice bag but it is a bit on a heavy side. I mainly use this bag as a daily commuter to work and back. I also use Wotancraft Ryker as my other commuter bag. If you like hard sturdy feel leather with top handle, then ONA. If you like soft leather with velvet interior (but can live without top handle) then can't go wrong with the Ryker.

I know the leather is more heavy. I'm planning to buy the canvas version. and oh i like that top handle. easy to pick up. thanks for chiming in.

I still have it but I'm thinking of something a bit bigger. I also love the handle of the Prince. Easy to pickup. the downside for me is, there's no more side pockets. the front pockets are huge though.

Again enjoying the 500mm on the Rii. Nice cropability and a reason I'm saving up for the big sensor Canon.
