I sold all my Canon stuff because of weight and number of lenses, and the attraction of Sony was a compact full frame system. I did enjoy Sony, but I found it too clinical and I couldn't get it to work as intuitively as when I was on Canon. Plus, I only ever used the 28mm f/2 (because I couldn't afford anything else and I'm not a fan of the manual glass, although I like the idea of it). With that, I want to be inspired again and read so much positively regarding the X100T - also it limited my GAS because you can't going buy more lenses etc. The Sony's sensor is about the only thing I miss, but the Fuji x-trans sensor (which is manufactured by Sony) renders really nicely in my opinion, and once I figured out how to edit the RAWs in Lightroom and made my own pre-sets I do very little editing compared to when I used Sony, which seem to require a lot of work to achieve the look I was after. In summary, I love the compactness and lightness of a fixed focal length setup (granted I mostly use the wide converter lens to provider an equivalent 28mm, but that's my favourite focal length), and Fuji is so easy to use with all the manual controls and dials. The only time I see myself changing camera is to upgrade to the X100T's successor!

I really love the x100t. My Sony kit is small but it's still a decent sized bag to take out the camera and 3 lenses. The x100t on the other hand is almost pocketable and the quality is superb. AF isn't as fast as my Sony and it doesn't have all the bells and whistles but I take it more places than the Sony due to the size. The Sony wins on pure IQ though which is what keeps me there being a pixel peeper. If the next x100 comes out with the new 24MP xtrans 3 sensor then that IQ difference may be a non issue. Only thing about the x100t that I've slipped into though is purchasing the wide angle convertor. Kind of goes against the reason I like the camera so much now that I'm carrying around another lens with it.

For family and life stuff with the occasional landscape etc as they happen the x100t is amazing.

Sorry for my delay in replying. Thanks both of you for some input.

For years I was always a FF 50mm guy, then I fell in love with the CV40 on the A7 & hence I've gone wider!! I quite like 35mm for an all round focal length for what I shoot. I've sold my 430EXII & I've now my 5D2 & 135L to put up for sale & I'm tempted to try a used X100 - I've seen them go for about £280

Composition on these images is outstanding, esp the cemetery (which I think are always difficult to compose).

Liked this first image; Looks like Analog Efex and I think it's a great tool for PP.

^^^ I liked it, and I think a very difficult shot to frame.

This is my 10-year old Smokey Joe, still putting out the best hamburgers in town. You wouldn't a think a 30 dollar grill would smash it, but this little guy is a gem. PP in Analog Efex.

Thank you but, I gotta say, your composition on that bbq grill blows mine away! Incredibly interesting image of an everyday object.

^^^ Thanks a lot man. Got lucky with that one.

When they write about landscape photography, I don't recall anyone warning about the chiggers. Goodness, those buggers can cause an itch.

Anyway, seems that hay is baled early July around here, so took a drive through the countryside on Sunday evening. Not much luck finding any rolling hills in our city/swamp, but thought these turned out Ok.
