No specific information yet, but CanonPriceWatch just posted a nice little article in regards to Prime Day this morning. You can take a look at the deals from last year to get an idea of waht you might be able to expect:

There wasn't really anything at all in any sector last year. It was pretty much Amazon getting rid of all their garbage.

Not sure if it was targeted or for all Amazon Card holders, but I got an email from Amazon for $30 off $150 as well as $10 off $20 order if you use echo to order so I am interested in what some of the Smart Home deals they have having up will be.

Went to the camera section on Amazon Prime sales, saw a few interesting items.

Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 OS. Starts at 6:20am. $899. (priced added)

X-rite Display Pro Monitor calibration tool. 4:20am. $189 (price added)

Will check it out again in the morning

I doubt anything good will drop.

These kinds of sales are usually just junk they're trying to thin out.

Same with other major retailers. Even on Black Friday, Amazon's sales have been pretty lack luster.

Very best,

Seems like there are going to be a handful of pelican deals coming up and 20% off refurbished lenses is a nice deal. For example, a used Tamron 24-70 VC sells for $705, after 20% off its $564.50 which isn't too shabby for that piece of glass. The pelican deals I'm interested in but I don't know the first thing about those cases or what a great price is. Just something to keep an eye on today.

Wait is that a speculative tamron deal or do you have a link?

Some deals are live now. Around 20% off for a few lens. A lot of inexpensive accessories on sale. Not a bad sale.

The Sigma deal was locked up within a few minutes. That was a good price on the 70-200.

Ok I'm not sure if this is Prime day or if I just found it but if you click "used" on lenses the ones that are fullfilled by Amazon deals have 15-20% off. Tamron 90 2.8 macro (that malveaux uses so well) $404 with 15% off should be about $340. I did this with the Tam 24-70VC for ~$570 that jbm mentioned.

Thanks for the information. I just purchased the Tam 24-70 VC for $560, pretty good deal. I have to pay $40 tax since I live in California, however it's still a good buy. thanks all

Price went up a bit for Tamron 24-70VC. One question though. Does this lens still carry US factory warranty?

I saw this on Tamron's site

The limited warranty set forth below is provided by Tamron USA, Inc. and is applicable to new Tamron Photographic Lenses purchased in the USA through an authorized dealer. Open box sales or used equipment do not apply. The Warranty shall not extend to anyone other than the original purchaser of the lens or the person for whom the lens was purchased as a gift.

Looks like used lenses does not carry the factory warranty :(
