If no one comes from the future to stop you, how bad of a decision could it really be?

First post. I saw this and had to contribute. I bought a Canon EOS Rebel T3 back in 2011 and have been hooked since. I took these pics a while back using the kit lenses that came with the T3. I'm working on getting better gear. I bought a 7D Mark II a few weeks ago and I have my first prime lens finally. So hopefully the pics will begin to get better. Here are some pics from the Memphis Zoo.

Our local zoo is small. Not a large selection of animals. And the ones they do have are rather dull. The lions are impossible to photograph properly due to @#$% bars that are so close together. And the tigers you have to shoot through thick filthy dirty gross glass. Which, with a bit of pp isn't really all that bad.

With the tigers and their rather bland enclosure, I brush around the tigers and desaturate everything but the tiger itself and boost the yellow and orange saturation to make the tiger stand out more. I dunno, I like the way the shots turn out then!

I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather.
Not screaming, terrified, like his passengers.
