I totally agree and am committed to practicing with something new before I actually put it into practice.

You've got the 135 f2 so you know! Its way exaggerated on telephoto, but even at 35mm it can be demanding.

I'm just saying that narrower is safer until you've got it dialed in.

4.5 fine if the light's there. The shot I posted above was f3.5. Much narrower and I'd be hurting for light.

Eventually I would love to pick up one of the fast 35s. Still undecided between the Sigma and the original 1.4L, but it'll be awhile before I have to decide.
