There's a lot of thieves at my place of employment as well. Can't say many of them are also great people, though.

Speaking of which, I decided to go ahead and work yesterday, instead of calling in sick. One more day I can sell back when I retire.

My blue ones disappear! So do my red pens. As I've said before, I have great people working for me...most are thieves, but still great people.

You might try putting your name on the pens you want to keep. I'm thinking it'd remind the thieving types that there's a person behind the property.

Or, you can just give your employees so many red pens that they won't know what to do with them. Then many they'll quit stealing them. Maybe not very cost-effective, though. On the other hand, your employees will feel better about themselves because they won't be pen thieves any longer.

I should sell my ideas to the goobermint.

And we had such high hopes for you. I'll pm you the address where to send your 1Dx II. Don't think of this as "punishment", think of it as a "life lesson".

All those thieves intermingling with the inmates? What kind of influence will that have on them?

You should!!! And trust me, my employees have more than enough pens, most of them from my office.

I spent a good portion of my life in the back of an ambulance. I'm not going back in. They will find me retired, half eaten, and my cat will be plump and happy.

Then you'll have to adopt a pen name.

Don't apologize. It was a great setup.

No pen intended.
