David, that is a stonking set. Love the bears and the landscapes beautiful :)

Is this Canada? Do please tell about the trip?

Hey - oops, sorry - yes this was / is Canada. We basically did a mad 2670mile road trip, starting on Vancouver island where we did the bear tour with 'Tide Rip Grizzly Tours' absolutely fantastic day!!! back to the mainland going up to Lake Louise / Banff, then back around with waaaaay too many stops in between but you know what. . . . . it was the best holiday we have done to date.

If you get really bored feel free to check out the gallery HERE (external link) There will be a lot of photo's you look at and say 'why' but this is our holiday gallery so a lot are memory triggers for the future. (be warned though bears, mountains, bears, more mountains and then a few more bears near the end just to keep it consistent lol.

And - thank you -

.DAVID.

Hi David

Ah! that is the sort of trip we have been talking about for the past few years...............a once in lifetime sort of trip, not least because of the costs! PM coming with few questions if that is OK???

PS Had a quick look through some of the gallery pages and as noted by Martin...............there are a lot to enjoy :)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Thanks all.

Dom, love the lego figure idea, been thinking about something similar, just something small in the camera case and at least one shot including 'it' everywhere I go. . . . will have a think!!

Thanks David, this little guy is about 8 inches tall so not something that can stay in my camera bag but the extra height make using depth of field much easier.

Met up with my sister, niece, my two great nephews and mum who was over from Spain yesterday and at the end of the day someone needed nan's shoulder to rest on as he was tired.

Picked the right time when they were not too many about, it was also mid week back at the beginning of June, the ones that are there are in the shadows in the gate, the image was taken in broad day light.
