I'm not sure if I posted this here before. Dark restaurant, handheld. Grandgirl Shannon reviewing images on the Sony a7S. Shot was minus 1 Ev to retain hair highlights. No post editing whatsoever.

I have this cousin who is an outgoing type. Unfortunately I had a difficult time getting detail in her white dress, so I had to do some manipulation dodging the eye sockets and burning the white dress, then I toned it, vignetted it, cropped it and put a border on it. I did not smooth or retouch her skin and I did no sharpening. M240 and CV 50mm f1.1 Nokton.
It's not perfect, but those lashes are sharp.

If you'd marched me through Times Square for lunch, I'd have been looking at you like that too. ;-)a

Four images. I discovered I have dust on my sensor. Argh! I spotted out the skies. Some editing. Shot in M 240 in Monochrome, yellow filter and vintage tone. Color versions extracted from DNGs.

Another shot of the grandgirl in the dark restaurant. The original was very reddish and had some noise at 2500 ISO, so it is edited, cropped, small bit of sharpening, shadows brought up and noise adjustment.

Today, I shot my grandgirl with the 90mm f2.4. Every blemish was super sharp--well, she is a teen-- so I tried a quick cleanup with Portrait Pro 15.

So how do you like the M-D?

I really want to pick one up. I really like my 262.
