It doesn't scream candid to me but its a very nice shot. I feel like a good candid is more about catching an interaction or people doing something interesting and usually at a bit of a wider angel to get some content of the background. Id call it a portrait. It has a nice film look to it.

Ok, cool then this is a portrait pic! I thought candid because I was pretty far shooting @ 200mm and cropped in on this shot that he did not know I was taking at the moment.

I agree with Thriller that this is a little too close up to get any context about this being a candid. Every credit for getting this nice and sharp at 200mm and the exposure is great but with you being so far away I've have maybe shot it at 135mm or even wider and got some of the park environment in to give the viewer more of the story of where this guy is and what he's doing.
