Hi Guys. Learned from the mistakes which I did in the earlier photoshoot and I had the opportunity to do a portrait photoshoot with Rochelle. Please give me your comments. Thanks

These photos are certainly a huge improvement on your last set of images you posted. You've placed the model in much more flattering light so there are no harsh shadows on her face.

The first seems a little out of focus and the second is considerably more contrasty that the other 2 but the 3rd photo is a really nice one. It just a shame she has a bit of an awkward smile on that last one.

Thanks for the comment Blackbull. The first image I did soften up a little bit reducing the clarity level in LR. It was just an experiment. I will take note of your comments and will try to do a better job next time. Thanks again

If you're experimenting with using the clarity to soften the skin, use the brush, instead. This way you can keep it off the hair, eyes, etc... and just limit it to the skin.

The same would apply if you were playing with softening the background some more. Brush it over the background, but don't include the model.

If you're just playing around with soft focus effects, maybe a radial filter would be better, and adjust the clarity inside or outside the radius of effect.
