Great entries, everyone. Thanks.

M_Six - Parts Counter: I like the feel you've achieved with your post processing (I presume) in an aged way. Portrays a time that was truly an explosion of the machine age. Nicely done. ;-)a

Sibil - A Man and his Chainsaw: A nice juxtaposition of man, machine and nature - a plus I had not considered. As a side note, I don't know how these guys do it. I could never handle those heights. -?

airfrogusmc - Machine 1 Man 0: I think the B&W helps with the urban feel. Even when outnumbered (in this case 2 to 1), machine always seems to get the best of us. :p

Voaky999 - Drag Race: Very nice capture of motion and direct connection of man and machine. The expression on racer's face really says it all. :-)

teekay - Old Mechanics Fix Vintage Streetcar Undercarriage: As a former auto dealer service manager, I can relate to this one. I love the look on the face of gentleman on right and the way he's holding that hammer. He's ready to show machine who's boss. We used to say we could fix anything, as long as we had a big enough hammer.:-D

Matrim33 - Woman and Machine: A reminder that not only do machines make our lives easier (or at least they're supposed to) but we can also use them for our entertainment. I like that the woman appears to be smiling and reacting to the ferris wheel, when in reality it is behind her and she must be looking/smiling at something else. A very nice shot.

This week's winner - Voaky999

Runnerup - teekay

Congratulations, Don. And thank you, again, everyone.

Congratulations to Don - and thanks for the #2 spot, Phil!

Our restored streetcar is over 100 years old, lovingly maintained and run every summer by a gang of guys who are nearly all very senior seniors - they are amazing. I nearly entered this shot of it being checked out before starting its daily schedule:
