Hi,sorry for the late reply,its noticeably faster on a 500 bare than 600(300x2)and accurate too.the only advantage for me is the IS for the 300 otherwise its still a joy to use the 500 inspite of its age,i think its my novice experience in the post processing the pictures why the image taken with 300 look more contrastier/sharper.

I really love the 6D but I missed the extra reach of a crop body for wildlife photos. I'm sure the 80D can get excellent quality landscape photos like the 6D. Here's a few test pics from yesterday. This is only a hobby so owning both bodies doesn't make sense to me. Besides I already have an A6000 for travel to compliment.
