Superb panorama! How many images have been stitched together?

Vancouver is beautifully located and has quite dense and impressive skyline.

Thanks for your comments, it's really nice! And yes, I LOVE Vancouver!

This view isn't one that the public can view. You need to know people. ;) And to answer your question, I believe it was 9 shots in portrait. Each snap was a 30 second exposure :)

Dodger Stadium from Elysian Park. Great spot to take photos of downtown Los Angeles, but it can get a little sketchy when the sun goes down. Try to bring someone with you if you do go. I went by myself and i don't think i'd do that again!

^ Topnotch, Bianchi! I want to try to do some night skyline shots one of these days. My question is about metering. Do you spot meter for the bright lights in the windows, or just use evaluative metering to average things out? What's the best way to not blow out the highlights while still getting enough information in the dark areas? Or do you guys typically bracket and then blend in post?

Gear List

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.
