Wow, great shot, TC! That needs to be printed out and hung on a wall.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

This morning it seemed every young bird for miles was hangin at my place. The light was defused by some thin cloud and I was grateful for that. hopefully one day I get this feather thing down.

nice shot, curious as to why you would bother with a 7DII given that you have a 1DX2 ?

I was going through older images from a couple months ago, so I had the 1DX. I love using a 7D on my 300mm lens (in good lighting) because the reach is good, and the AF is great. My 1DX, because of the bigger battery to drive converters, was mounted to a 600/ 1.4x combo.

Love the photo, but I had to check the date taken in the meta data. Regular unleaded still $3.00 a gallon? You might not want to see this. (external link)

A change from birds and wildlife.

I have been using this at our shop for product photography for the net.

Loving the detail I am getting.

Galapagos Penguin. Number only around 2000, and those numbers can drop by 75% in El Nino years...
