I don't see why not, I believe any type of knife would be fine to post.

OK, not the greatest shot but the idea was to just depict some of my kitchen knives :)

Unless the knives are actually yellow, I think you need to fix the WB. And for me, I think the light on them is a little too even. A little gradient across at least one blade might be more interesting like: Knife lighting problem

With nice knives like those, Renata, I'm surprised that you have any fingers left ! :-D

PhotosGuy, I will look at that link you attached. The knives are not yellow. I just shot them without paying any attention to detail. The sole purpose of this shot was to email it to my son who just got his first apartment and wanted some ideas on what to buy. He cooks from scratch. I will see if I can take a better shot. Thanks :)

Mike, I do. I was trained in this field by my mom and I think I know how to protect my fingers but heck, I still get some minor cuts...ouch :)

The shot itself isn't bad. Why not just adjust the color balance? Look at the "Advanced Tip" here: Adjustment Layers for local changes to color & density. (external link)

More on Layer Masks here: Three pages on Layer Masks (external link)

That one looks good to me. A touch of blue, but that works with the metal.
