QUOTED IMAGE

Is this natural light? I've been trying to do it and I can not get a great balance between foreground/background/subject. And colors! What time was this around? I love that you can understand the background still and have an almost full body shot with such clarity. I have trouble focusing because of how dark the subject is when I try to get the background exposed right.

I have posted my first/recent natural light shots if you don't mind sending over a few comments :). thanks!

the 1st picture is incredible

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

I'm a big fan of your work Nenad but these seem dark to me. I realize they were taken at dusk, but they don't pop like your usual photos. Model looks great, but I'm talking about the background mostly.

In the first one, I look at the model and then my eyes go right to the graffiti. In the 2nd, they go to the model and then right to the lights.

Love the hair/eyes and how they go with the background.

The little black hairs on the chin are distracting me though haha, but that's just me i guess

Thanks! It's not perfect for sure. He had a lot of acne, so there was a lot of clean up on the skin, so I think I missed a few things like the hairs.
