to all:
do we have to argue or try to make a point at every subject now?
let's just drop it and support each other as we did before.
please!!
It's just discussion and disagreement

mystik610 Cream of the Crop More info Post edited over 7 years ago by mystik610. | Jul 29, 2016 05:36 | #21433 jocau wrote in post #18080554 Well, in a way they are "all the same" to me as in "they are all unacceptable above ISO 800-1600 when the light levels get low". I have a folder called "Samples" on my SSD which is filled with RAW files from cameras which look interesting at launch (APS-C + fullframe and from various brands). So I pixelpeep them and try out noise reduction. So yeah, I know what I'm talking about. But hey, I've said it before that I'm allergic to noise. I think the X-Pro2 images at ISO 12800 look atrocious. The A7R comparison also isn't the best comparison since it's one of the weakest fullframe sensors I know regarding high ISO performance. If you want good/great high ISO performance on the Sony fullframe side, you have to look at the A7S/A7SII/A7RII. FF cameras also have better signal to noise ratio at base ISO as well. The difference can be significant if you push the files hard in post...there's more head-room with FF file. I found myself using crop mode frequently in Disney and could really see the difference. focalpointsphoto.com

EverydayGetaway Cream of the Crop More info Post edited over 7 years ago by EverydayGetaway. | Jul 29, 2016 07:09 | #21435 jocau wrote in post #18080699 I'd love to but lately there's this guy who has to let everyone in here know how sharpness is overrated, how a fullframe sensor is overrated, how IBIS is overrated, how Sony is lacking support for their cameras and how awesome Fuji is (all of that in a Sony thread). It has come to a point where it's becoming annoying. Every point I've made was a direct counter to someone else's and almost all of them weren't to he argumentative but rather to give perspective. The only reason I'm the "bad guy" is that most people in here are shooting an a7 body of some nature and my opinions often contradict their own... This. xpfloyd wrote in post #18080741 Agreed. This whole Sony vs Fuji thing is getting old fast. I often browse the Fuji threads too and done so yesterday only to find they were all arguing about Fuji vs canon!!! . If people like Fuji or Sony or full frame or crop it doesn't really matter to others so I don't get why people feel the need to defend their positions so much. Maybe it's just me?... Again, it has nothing to do with defending one format or the other, it has to do with perspective and grounds in reality. The a7's are great cameras, but they are not the end all be all and I'd love to see Sony make improvements in the areas that I feel are important. jocau wrote in post #18080695 That's because I don't even enjoy the process of taking pictures that much. You really don't even need to say anything else... you'll never understand my affinity with Fuji if this is your mentality. Fuji X-T3 // Fuji X-Pro2 (Full Spectrum) // Fuji X-H1 // Fuji X-T1
