Well now, this is a different subject from your norm. Nicely done. :-)

Haha, thanks! Yeah I shoot mostly portraits and events now, but I used to shoot mostly cars and amateur motorsports. I still do a little, but not much. This was from a cars and coffee event with a ton of people around, so cleaned it up and replaced the background with a shot from Alaska that my father in law took with my camera.

Took this last week. My first time shooting a male model solo.

Some more from that set edited in my more typical style. Did a few things differently in the editing that I liked and will move forward with, I learned a lot from the shoot. First time working with a male model solo, so lots to take to the next shoot like this.

5D + 135L for all of these

You will love it man. I doubt you will want to send it back. I use mine for everything - food, cars, event work, and oh yeah, portraits. It's such a nice lens to hold and use and the results are fantastic.

Love this set! Great work! :-) The 135L is one of my favorite lenses.

Nice shot! I like the processing a lot. :) He reminds me of the actor that plays the love interest in the Hunger Games.

The 50mm STM came! It's so tiny! And also kind of reaaally tight to mount onto the camera...? It's much quieter focusing than the Mark II, not a whole lot faster I think. But also a few inches closer of focusing.

^ How much of that did you have to crop? I popped my sigma 10-20 on my 5d the other day to see what would happen, lol. It didn't look quite like that, ha.

So I should be picking one of these up next weekend :D

Ive got a friend willing to sell me his at a good price since he switched to Fuji.

Gonna be my first foray into full frame so I'm pretty excited. :-)

One question I got, being this is an older camera, is it safe to assume the high ISO performance isnt so great compared to modern cameras like the A7S II/R II, 6D and D750?
Just wondering how this camera will handle in low light photography and astrophotography.
