I am at Bowra Station SW Queensland at the moment, a great birding destination.

That eye is exquisite! Seriously piercing. Though 12,000 miles away I can feel it!

Different shot than the one I posted in the 7D2 image thread, this was later as the sun set.

Did you enhance that throat or is it out of the camera?
Unique perch too, beautiful shot.

If no one comes from the future to stop you, how bad of a decision could it really be?

Levels adjustment, vignette and slight saturation, other than that that's how it came OOC. I was a little disappointed in how dark it was but in light of the limited MP on the 30D, I let it be.

This is one of the most interesting birds in the neighborhood right now. He's attached to our backyard feeder and will follow me everywhere if I have the camera in hand. Between the patio and the parking lot, I have a dozen pictures that he basically posed for in my LR catalogue right now.

Those feathers on his chest change color depending on the angle. They go from ruby red to orange to green and he's tiny! If he's 3 inches long, I would be surprised.

Edit: Thank You underd0g!
