The strip box on the left of the frame is parallel to the subject and pointed directly at the background; you'll always have to put light on it if you want it to come out white. 5d3 with a 24-70 and Tamron 90mm VC.

How big are the stripboxes?

I tried some this weekend and will post soon! I did not have a strip box so it was a little tricky. I also had a hard time placing the light on the background without spilling over on the subject. Is that part of what a strip box does?

Or you could use what we call a "Flag" to block the extra light.
