Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This weeks the theme is Water. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Show us Water
But don't get the camera/lens wet... :p

Here are the rules:
1. Shots need to be taken between Monday Sunset and the following Monday by Sunset (Whenever that is for you ). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
2. Post your shots at any time during the week.
3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: IMAGE POSTING RULES
That's it! Have fun! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.
An index to previous weeks can be found here: POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it!
Have fun!

At least this theme brought some much needed rain to my farm so I attempted to take some shots, the first is actually rain falling from the sky, had several failures and did not like the ones taken with slower shutter speeds.

Next is the rain hitting an old cream can,

And the next day after the nice 1 1/2 inch rainfall and cooler temps, water in the form of fog over my bean field. All photos taken from the safety of my front porch. Now I'm in search of some more attractive water scenery.

Well, after scuffing the wheels on my new car, I decided to use the insurance to get them fixed.I know it seems silly to most but, I have the insurance I am paying for , why not use it It is like wearing a pair of new white shoes. First time out the door and wham. Big black scuff mark.

First photos are of the damage so you all know what I am talking about. And the rest are of the repair with the "water" from the rain storm this afternoon.

looks like rain features a lot in this weeks' shots!

today wasn't much different from the rest of the week, showers - some very heavy, and down to about 7degrees C.
Made for difficult photography of the soccer this morning with an umbrella, but glad I wasn't playing in it... :-)

I found this kettle (?) along the side of our road. I'm guessing an animal knocked it off the side of the hill...makes you wonder how it got there?-?

I took this shot a few minutes ago. I hope it's not too late for the Water theme.
