He's an 'indoor' cat without claws, but he spends an awful lot of time outside. He lives at my parents house where he showed up randomly one day as a stray kitten (chewed up ear, missing teeth). Despite not having claws, he'll spend entire nights outside in the summer months. I've broken up scuffles with neighboring cats, raccoons, opossums, etc.. He'll take a couple days off, and go back out on the prowl. If you don't watch him, he'll bring in 'friends….' I've had to remove mice, chipmunks and baby birds from the living room numerous times - not easy to catch! There's 40+ acres of vacant land behind the house. I often worry that he won't come home one day, but at the same time, he's got more freedom than most. -Dane

Aug 04, 2016 15:03 | #6920 Here's skelly(skeletor). When he was born he had extended rib cage and made him look skeletal in the mid-section. Vet assured us that he would be fine and grow into it. That was 7 years ago. Image hosted by forum (806588) © ma11rats [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff. If looks could kill, I suspect your camera would be toast... Chris

Aug 04, 2016 19:57 | #6923 Cooper says no declawing! The process actually means removing part of the cat's toe ( if you will) at the next joint. It is not like just pulling off a toe nail. I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy it!!

If your furniture is more important than your cat then get cheaper furniture..!! Good job taking care of Bob.. ![]() Actually ear and tail cropping had its functional reasons and often still have, mostly when speaking about working dogs. Also these can be practical in everyday life, I know several dogs who belong to such "cropping" breeds and regularly suffer now from tail and ear injuries, ear infections etc. CyberCat

It's all about appearances and nothing else. Mutilation is another word that comes to my unhinged mind. Renata
