in the first week after the Tour de France, the so called "criteriums" are being raced, mainly in Belgium and Holland. One of the oldest is the "8 van Chaam" in the Southern part of Holland. This was the 78th edition.

1. Tom Dumoulin broke his arm in the Tour. He is the hot favourite for the gold in the Olympic Time trial race in Rio. this was a test for him to see if he can race with his injury. He dropped out of the race after the first hour. Fingers crossed he'll be able to race in Rio. Bauke Mollema is the other rider in the shot.

^ Great job on those. Love that through the weeds shot, for its Watson-ish look. As for the last shot, both B&W or color are good, but the background confuses things more in the B&W, so I'd have to side with the color version. You did OK shooting f/4.5's. I would have used a smaller stop, but I guess a cropped body can eek out a little more.

I had no light, so a smaller stop was no option. I was already at ISO 1250

Shots from this Sat morning. It was so humid around 7am that I was worrying about my camera experiencing water/sweat damage. LOL. I was sweating mad just standing still.

I like this shot because it has certain artistic, abstract elements.
