A composite of the sun and moon from August 6 2016. Both taken with a Nikon-Mirror 1m f/11 lens (external link) on a Canon 7D2. The image of the Sun was taken at 5:40pm local time. Even with the solar filter and an f/11 lens I still had to shoot the sun at 1/8000 sec and ISO200. Sun spots 2571 (centre) and 2572 (right) are visible. The image of the Moon was taken at 8:40pm. The Moon was shot at f/11 1/100sec and ISO800.
