We're late to the film party but we are really enjoying the journey.

Here are a few recent frames (sorry for the low quality links!), cheers!

Anyone knowledgeable in Canon FL lenses? I cant seem to put my 35mm 2.5 in auto mode, I also have a 55mm 1.2 which clearly had a lever marked A and M. My 35mm on the other hand just has a ring behind the aperture ring but it doesn't say which way to turn to be in the auto mode.

I'm looking for a good all-around color film to shoot. I really like the look of Portra 400 but it's pretty expensive. Superia was the first film I ever shot and really didn't care for it. I bought some of the Fujicolor 200 to try out, and the results were terrible; although I did get it developed at Walgreens and the results seem to vary a lot. I shoot Ektar occasionally, but it's not really good for portraits, or anywhere but sunlight. I just ordered a few rolls of Colorplus 200 to try out since I've seen some pretty decent photos with that. Any other films to look at?

Velvia 100.

Dinosaur NM. I took a bunch of shots on a tripod with my 5DIII and 'snapped' a few hand-held with the A1. The few film shots where better than anything I got with the 5DIII. Did use a 2 stop soft GND.

Flower from Boise botanic gardens. Not sure why I like this shot so much. Perhaps because I would never have processed a digital photo like this. Velvia 100 again. Vivitar 70-200 f2.8-f4.

Kodak ultramax is good and very cheap at $3 from B&H, or sometimes you can get it for $1-2 in lot sales. I never cared for superia, had too strong greens and portra was too muted for me.

This was from a roll of expired Fuji Velvia 100, then cross processed.

You had to think about each one of these before tripping the shutter, didn't you?
Very well done. :-)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

I shot 2 rolls of 36 exp. 35mm at the show. Definitely a change of pace from shooting with the 70D.

Scored a Mamiya RB67 Pro last week.
First roll through the camera came out pretty fair. Still working on that whole figure out the exposure thing but I got it pretty close.
