If you are intersting in video side of canon 1dxm2 here is our fist work with new camera and wildlife:

Please say what do you think.
During the rain there was very dark and dual pixel work properly only in flexi zone single mode. Traking mode could not rich sharpness. What was very intersting auto focus during photo taking (outside of live view) drive continuosly and did not get sharpness at all.

Some nice footage in tough lighting conditions. I think you did a very nice job, well done

Finally gonna pick up my 1dx2 after having it reserved and ready for me to collect a week ago! I hesitated because of size weight and the looming 5d4. I also did a photo shoot on my Sony a7r2 and it wasn't a nice experience due to the very slow buffer.

Wonderful capture (as always) but brings sadness to me, our BBs have completely disappeared :( Absolutely no sign of them post our return from Alligator River. So keep
posting yours, we can at least enjoy BBs that way.

I don't (remember amateur having fun with photography) see the connection/conflict to an apples -5Div- versus oranges '1DXii. Similarly we just added a 5Dsr which is (to me) yet again pomegranates versus bananas. Each is so different in their capabilities/intent.

On the A7Rii we took it on last weeks trip and several times when I had some ground to cover for my shot I chose it over the 5Dsr simply for weight matters alone.
Screwdrivers, hammers, saws, and so on.

Only thing significant to this pick from my perspective is I used my fav. EOS lens of all time.
That and the fact, thanks to our good friend Neutron, we have 4 more boxes to get airborne.
Two years ago we got 3 Barred Owl boxes up, soon these 4 Screech Owl boxes will be suspended.
After the lake level drops this winter we'll get the duck box up-

It may not be a issue, when the fledglings left the nest I did not see anyone for a few days, then dad showed up and then mom and then many days later the fledglings showed up. Just keep putting out the meal worms. Our 2nd nest just fledged 3 days ago and I have only seen dad and not much. Hopefully I will see the new fledglings too. Best of luck
