Here's a young pregnant girl that showed up at our door a couple of weeks ago, hungry and malnourished. She's a sweetie. We were able to easily put her in a carrier and take her down to the Seattle Animal Shelter last Monday. She was spayed on Wednesday and adopted on Friday. We wish we could have kept her, but we already have a couple of indoor cats, along with an outdoor stray that adopted us last year. One of our indoor cats has IBD, so he's a hand full. Anyway, I assume the kittens weren't viable, so they fixed her and got into a good home. We're happy for her and the new owners. She's a real affectionate kitty.

You did the right thing for her, now she has a nice home and happy new owners. You can't give each cat a forever home I know you would love to but you can't. I know that feeling. Each time I see a cat in need or kittens I think I wish... but we have to keep thinking about our lovely cats that are already in our house isn't? :-P

Nice to hear a happy ending and that she has got her forever home where she will be loved and cared for :-)

Thanks for the post. We'll be adopting older, less wanted cats in the future when current kitties are no longer with us.
